XeonClan was an idea of my best friend who said to me that we should form a local clan for us and a few friends playing Halo on the Xbox. We had been thinking of a name for the clan for quite a long time, and then my mate said "Why don't we have Xeon?". So XeonClan was born and was formed in early 2005.

         XeonClan started out quite well as a local thing, we only had a few members and we didn't have a website or anything like that so we weren't official. Then over time people decided to go their separate ways as a few of us didn't have internet connection at home. So over time I took over XeonClan and for around 2 years I was planning to create a clan website while I learnt web-design in college, then in April 2007 XeonClan came back with a fresh start and a website, although I did use a web-builder as I didn't have the skills to develop my own website, so with the web-builder I made a cheap and nasty site but it proved to be quite good with the new clan members from around the world. After several months I built a new site again with a web-builder, but with the option to add my own HTML code, again cheap and nasty but better than the first site, as I could add things I wanted to the site with what I had been learning in college. The second website went well until I needed more space and pages than the site could provide me with.

         Over time people were not showing up for clan training or general clan games and there was a lot of inactivity within the clan. Then when XeonClan got offered its first clan match, only 3 people showed, that gave XeonClan a bad name and reputation, so I thought enough was enough and I wasn't going to let XeonClan get a bad name for its self at the early stage so I got strict. I closed down the clan site again and built the brand new site from scratch without a web-builder just with the web-design skills I have learnt in college.

         Now armed with the knowledge from college and a lot if time on the internet improving my skills I have. So over the past couple of months I have been making this new clan site. I have finally designed the new site, now the new site is structured around CSS and is easily adaptable. There are constant updates within the website and these can be seen in the main page, by clicking "View Updates" in the top right hand corner next to the update version number.
